"To create a garden is to search for a better world. In our effort to improve on nature, we are guided by a vision of paradise. Whether the result is a horticultural masterpiece or only a modest vegetable patch, it is based on the expectation of a glorious future. This hope for the future is at the heart of all gardening."--- Marina Schinz

Note by BT: We had driven 3 hours that day to visit a small very old church and its cemetery in Castletownshend, a small very old and historic village in Co. Cork. We walked up the hill to the cemetery and there noted the many gravestones, some very old and some newer. It was very peaceful and lovely, and way across the cemetery near the fence was a beautiful tall camellia blooming amongst the gravestones. It was beautiful!--BT April 15, 2007
