"We may have bad weather
in Ireland, but the sun shines in the hearts of the people and
that keeps us all warm."
---- Marianne Williamson
Ireland is aglow with flowers all over the
hillsides, roadsides, yards and beyond!! It is beautiful now in
the spring. We photographed these lovely blossoms while there
in April, 2008. It is a photographer's dream for sure! I hope
you enjoy them!--BT, April 27, 2008
Camelia at Fota House Gardens
Co. Cork, Ireland
May the road rise up to meet
you.
May the wind always be at your
back.
May the sun shine warm upon your
face,
and rains fall soft upon your
fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm
of His hand.
Another camelia at Fota Gardens
A Wish for a Friend
Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers-
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours-
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never
ends
Each day your whole life through!
Many of the camelia bushes had been
frost burned by the recent very cold weather, but not this one.
An Old Celtic Blessing
May the blessing of light be
on you-
light without and light within.
May the blessed sunlight shine
on you
and warm your heart
till it glows like a great peat
fire.
A collection of Irish hues
An Old Irish Blessing
May love and laughter light your
days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends
be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your
world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
Jonquils
Like the warmth of the sun
And the light of the day,
May the luck of the Irish
shine bright on your way.
May joy and peace surround you,
Contentment latch your door,
And happiness be with you now
And bless you evermore.

These things, I warmly wish for
you-
Someone to love,
Some work to do,
A bit of o' sun
A bit o' cheer
And a guardian angel
Always near.
Rhododendrons
Fota Gardens
May good luck be your friend
In whatever you do
And may trouble be always
A stranger to you.
Tulips
May your blessings outnumber
The Shamrocks that grow
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.
Rhododendrons
Lucky stars above you, Sunshine
on your way, Many friends to love you, Joy in work and play- Laughter
to outweigh each care, In your heart a song- And gladness waiting
everywhere All your whole life long!
May you always have these blessings
A soft breeze when summer comes- A warm fireside in winter- And
always- the warm, soft smile of a friend.
