Belleek pottery from Ireland is very beautiful. It has a characteristic basketweave and clover design on the creamy white porcelain china. Recently in 2002, we had been in Ireland and were in Kinsale, in Co. Cork on the southern coast of Ireland. Kinsale is a wonderful seaside village with many fine shops and restaurants. It was in one of those shops that I found our newest Belleek vase. I like them so much, I had to buy this one(3rd photo down). It is a beautiful piece of pottery and I imagine that we shall continue to collect Belleek. It is among our favorites pottery patterns.
