"The same stream of life that runs
through my veins night and day runs through the world and dances
in rhythmic measures. It is the same life that shoots in joy through
the dust of the earth in numberless blades of grass and breaks
into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers."-----Sir Rabindranath
Tagore, Bengali writer (1861-1941).

"Love thou the rose, yet leave
it on its stem"
-----Lytton
"A dozen roses is a choir;
A single rose is a soloist."
We had been that day up on the hill where
my daughter lives, and the weather was wonderful and spectacular.
When the weather in Ireland is warm and beautiful it is the most
beautiful day in the world. These flower photos were taken there
in the yard above the sea on that balmy day. They bring back memories
of the visit there and always will. The view from there is impressive
looking out to the sea beyond the beach. Here are the flowers
from the hill.

Beautiful sun-faced daisies turn their
blossoms to the sky.
"Photography for me is not looking,
it's feeling. If you can't feel what you're looking at, then you're
never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your
pictures."-----Diane Arbus

I call these: sun daisies as
they open fully to the sun.
"When you take a flower in
your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment."
-----Georgia O'Keefe
"Flowers are words which even
a baby can understand."
-----Arthur C . Coxe
